Springboig Overcladding – Value: £5m (Client: Shettleston Housing Association/Architect: Anderson Bell Christie)

Following a successful pilot study in 2009 Shettleston Housing Association embarked on a phased programme of works to overclad around 300 non-traditional ‘Weir’ houses with an insulated render system. The original external steel panels were removed to allow repairs and strengthening of the timber frame prior to installing the new cladding.
