Clifton Moor Retail Development, Phase 3A, Rawcliffe, York – Value: £1.4m (Client: Henry Boot Developments)

A 50,000 sq ft non-food retail development, sub-divided into 3 units.  The building is frames in steel and designed to a minimum weight solution (165 tonnes, including all mansard and feature steelwork).  The building was constructed by Shepherd Construction for Henry Boot Developments in 20 weeks. This was in line with the pre-contract programme.  Ramage Young designed and detailed the structural frame on behalf of Bone Steel.
